SERMA Safety and Security accelerates hardware auditing with Hardsploit NG

SERMA Safety and Security announces the launch of Hardsploit Next Generation, a new generation of hardware auditing tools designed to automate and simplify cybersecurity testing for embedded systems and IoT devices, incorporating advanced technologies including artificial intelligence. Supported by Bpifrance and the France 2030 program, this innovation addresses the growing demand for effective solutions against threats targeting electronic components.
A major breakthrough in hardware penetration testing
While software testing is widely automated, hardware audits often remain lengthy and complex. Hardsploit NG provides an ergonomic and efficient solution, accelerating analyses and simplifying vulnerability detection, particularly through the integration of advanced technologies.

A tool designed for experts and industry professionals

Hardsploit NG targets a wide audience:

  • Cybersecurity professionals, to simplify and speed up their diagnostics.
  • Manufacturers of electronic boards and connected devices (IoT), aiming to enhance the security and reliability of their products.
  • Ethical hackers, who identify and remediate hardware vulnerabilities.
  • Students and cybersecurity enthusiasts, eager to gain practical skills and train for hardware security challenges.

This funding highlights the strategic importance of Hardsploit NG for hardware cybersecurity and reflects Bpifrance’s confidence in our capacity for innovation. We are convinced that this project will mark a turning point in securing industrial systems, while contributing to French technological sovereignty, says Lionel Agulhon, Technical Director at SERMA Safety and Security.

A commitment to sovereign and accessible cybersecurity

With this funding, SERMA Safety and Security aims to position Hardsploit NG as:

  • An accessible and open solution for the cybersecurity community.
  • An ergonomic tool that simplifies hardware analysis.
  • A learning platform to better prepare for tomorrow’s security challenges.
  • A sovereign project, ensuring technological independence.
  • An asset for anticipating new security regulations.
  • A major innovation leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance the efficiency and relevance of analyses.

Through partnerships with key industry and research stakeholders, Hardsploit NG aspires to become a benchmark standard for embedded technology protection.
